🛡️ inGo Anti-Fraud Policy

This policy explains how inGo prevents, detects, and responds to fraudulent activity on the platform.
- Scope
This policy applies to all users of the inGo app:
- Riders requesting rides or deliveries
- Riders providing transportation services
Fraudulent activity includes:
- Payment fraud
- Fake bookings or deliveries
- Account takeover or unauthorized access
- Misrepresentation of services or identity
- User Responsibilities
All users must:
- Provide accurate and truthful information during registration and bookings
- Maintain account security (strong passwords, secure devices)
- Report suspicious activity immediately via in-app support
- Avoid sharing account details with others
- Prohibited Activities
Users must not:
- Create fake accounts or impersonate others
- Use stolen credit cards or mobile money wallets (EcoCash, InbucksOne Money)
- Request refunds or fare adjustments fraudulently
- Manipulate ratings, reviews, or location data
- Attempt to bypass app security, promotions, or fare calculations
- Detection & Monitoring
- inGo monitors all trips, deliveries, and transactions for unusual patterns
- Mobile money transactions are tracked and verified according to RBZ guidelines
- Suspected fraudulent activity may trigger:
- Account suspension
- Temporary hold on payments or payouts
- Investigation by inGo
- Fraud Reporting
- Report fraud immediately via:

- Provide as much detail as possible: trip/delivery ID, date/time, screenshots
- Investigation & Action
- inGo will investigate all reports of fraud promptly
- Confirmed fraudulent activity may result in:
- Permanent account deactivation
- Forfeiture of funds or earnings
- Referral to law enforcement authorities in Zimbabwe
- Users are expected to cooperate during investigations
- Payment & Refund Implications
- Fraudulent use of mobile money (EcoCash/OneMoney) or cash payments will result in non-refund
- inGo reserves the right to recover funds lost due to fraud
- Compliance & Governance
- inGo follows all relevant Zimbabwean laws and RBZ regulations related to financial transactions and fraud prevention
- Users are responsible for compliance with applicable laws
- Education & Awareness
- inGo may provide guidance to users on:
- Safe mobile money use
- Secure account practices
- Identifying scams or phishing attempts
