🏦 inGo Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Policy

This policy sets out how inGo prevents, detects, and reports money laundering and related financial crimes, in compliance with Zimbabwean law and RBZ regulations.
- Purpose
The purpose of this policy is to:
- Protect inGo, riders, couriers from illegal financial activity
- Ensure compliance with RBZ and Zimbabwean AML regulations
- Promote safe, secure, and transparent mobile money transactions
- Scope
This policy applies to all users of the inGo app, including:
- Riders paying for trips or deliveries
- Couriers receiving payments
- Third-party service providers handling payments
It covers:
- Mobile money transactions (EcoCash, OneMoney)
- Cash payments related to inGo trips or deliveries
- Refunds and promotions
- User Responsibilities
Users must:
- Provide accurate identity information during registration
- Use legal payment methods only
- Avoid transactions that may conceal illegal funds or misrepresent source of funds
- Report any suspicious payment requests
- Prohibited Activities
Users may not:
- Use inGo for money laundering, terrorist financing, or fraud
- Deposit, transfer, or receive funds from unauthorized or suspicious sources
- Manipulate mobile money or in-app payment systems to hide transaction history
- Transaction Monitoring
- inGo monitors transactions for:
- Unusual payment amounts or frequency
- Suspicious patterns of cancellations and refunds
- Accounts linked to fraudulent or illegal activity
- All mobile money payments comply with RBZ reporting requirements
- Reporting Suspicious Activity
- inGo will report suspicious transactions to the RBZ and other regulatory authorities as required by law

- Users must cooperate with identity verification, transaction audits, and investigations
- inGo reserves the right to freeze accounts or withhold payments if suspicious activity is detected
- inGo complies fully with Zimbabwean AML/CFT laws and RBZ mobile money regulations
- Education & Awareness
- inGo educates users about:
- Safe mobile money use (EcoCash/OneMoney)
- Identifying fraudulent or illegal financial requests
- Reporting suspicious transactions
- Consequences of Violation
- Violation of AML rules may result in:
- Account suspension or termination
- Forfeiture of funds
- Referral to law enforcement authorities
- Legal action under Zimbabwean law
