💰 inGo – Pricing & Fare Policy

This policy explains how fares, fees, and payments work on inGo.
- Fare Calculation
- Ride and delivery fares are calculated based on:
- Distance traveled
- Estimated duration
- Base fare per trip/delivery
- Any applicable service or convenience fees
- The total fare is displayed before you confirm your request.
📌 The fare estimate may change due to traffic, route updates, or changes to delivery instructions.
- Pricing Transparency
- All fares, fees, and taxes are clearly shown in the app before confirmation.
- Surge pricing or dynamic pricing may apply during high demand or peak hours.
- You will be notified of any surge multiplier before accepting the ride or delivery.
- Payment Methods
- Accepted payment options include:
- Cash
- EcoCash
- OneMoney
- Other in-app supported methods
- Payment is collected upon trip or delivery completion, except where prepayment is required.
- Mobile money transactions are processed through licensed providers in Zimbabwe, in compliance with RBZ regulations.
⚠️ You are responsible for ensuring sufficient funds in your mobile money wallet. inGo is not liable for network delays or failed transactions.
- Taxes & Compliance
- All fares include applicable local taxes and levies where required by law.
- inGo complies with RBZ regulations for electronic and mobile money payments.
- Cancellation & No-Show Fees
- Rider cancellations: Fees may apply if you cancel after a driver has accepted the request or are late for pick-up.
- Courier cancellations: Fees may apply for rejecting assigned deliveries after acceptance.
- No-shows: Riders failing to appear at pickup may be charged a no-show fee.
📌 Repeated cancellations or no-shows may lead to account restrictions or suspension.
- Refunds
- Completed rides or deliveries are non-refundable, except where:
- There is an app or payment error
- Required by law
- Refunds, if approved, are returned to the same payment method used for the trip, including EcoCash or OneMoney.
- Surge Pricing & Promotions
- Fares may be temporarily increased during high demand or emergencies (surge pricing).
- Promotional codes or discounts are applied at the time of booking and may have specific terms and expiration dates.
- Promo discounts cannot reduce fares below any applicable minimum fares.
- Fare Disputes
- Report fare disputes via the app support feature within 7 days of the trip or delivery.
- inGo will review and respond to disputes fairly and may adjust the fare if an error is confirmed.
- Transparency & User Responsibility
- Riders and couriers are responsible for reviewing fare estimates before confirming trips or deliveries.
- You agree to pay the total fare displayed, including applicable fees, taxes, and surge multipliers.
